Robert Hancock is a leading researcher at the University of British  Columbia, a Killam Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, and a Canada Research Chair in Health and Genomics. Receiving his PhD in  1975 he has become one of the worlds most highly cited researchers. He is  a co-founder of several companies, both private and public, including  Migenix, Inimex, ABT Innovations, and Sepset Biotherapeutics. He has won  major health research awards and is an Officer of the Order of Canada

Jan Burian, PhD

Founder / Chief Technical Offcier

Dr. Jan Burian is a successful biochemist and molecular biologist with  extensive knowledge in operations, scale-up of fermentative API-  production, research and development. He has numerous academic  publications to his name. He previously held a site directorship with Pfizer.  Dr. Burian is the alternate qualified person in charge under the Health  Canada license for the production of psilocybin.

Jen Gretchen, CPA, CA


Jen Gretchen obtained her CA designation in 2014 after articling with  KPMG. She has managerial experience in financial planning, analysis and  reporting. She has spent her career working with progressive tech  companies including Qualcomm and has assisted multiple companies  through IPO and M&A transactions.

Omar Rasul is the former CFO of AIG Insurance Company of Canada,  Divisional CFO for Citibank and a major Canadian Bank. Also held global  and regional functional head positions with AIG and Citibank in NY USA. A  finance and risk management executive with deep finance knowledge and  broad based cross functional experience gained at leading global  organization like AIG, Citigroup and major Canadian banks. Expertise in the  areas of corporate governance. business strategy, financial planning and  analysis, risk and capital management, investments, treasury, capital  markets and financial controllership.
